Film progression 2

Second day of filming 6/12/2013 

Filming at night. The night scene of chasing by an anonymous. There was a Friday night we all decided to film one of the running scene on the road. It was creepy and silent of that night and yet mosquitoes are also filming with us.

SCENE started with the unknown figure chasing Apple.

"What do you want with me?!Who are you?!Get away from me! AHHHHH!

Filming at night was one of the hardest thing we need to overcome it as the road was too dark, we can't even see the light, therefore, we made up our minds to use flash light of camera and our phone.

The first thought appeared in my mind was Michael Jackson's Thriller music video. There was one scene which a girl was running in the forest, she was so terrified by chasing an unknown figure, she kept running and running, turning her head and screaming.

Just in case if you guys never watch before those scenes!

Shadow.

Hey guys! Guess what's always important of a cult and a noir film? 
Recently we were told by Mr Charles which shadow are the most vital component in our movie. Imagine if the movie without any shadow inside..

We had four scenes for our entire movie. And yet we decided to do a trailer scenes first because christmas is around the corner ;p

Our try out film progression 1 - Part 1

Hi peeps!! I can finally have some spare time to blog now. It has been a really tough week for me because the assignment deadlines and psyco quiz are set within last week. The life now is more festinating.

I've come to realise that the process of producing a film is really tough, especially the part where video editing comes into play. I have literally no experience in editing a film but I'm glad that my group members helped me out in a lot of ways. 

First of December 1.12.2013

We decided to do our film trailer at a mansion which located at Kajang's Country Height.

Lets show you some pictures that i took today.

 Is time to start shooting of our scenes.

1 scene for today.

Apple was having a nightmare dreaming.

She then suddenly awake from the dream.She felt frightened by the dream.

Scene 2

(Try out) Mirror scene. The bloody words "You are deserved to die" 

Hooray! We were so hungry for filming so we decided to order domino pizza to fill our starving.

We're playing around haha :)

That's all the pictures for today's shooting. We were having fun today but i think i should improve my photography skills as my group members said my photography skills is poor :(

However i'm glad that i working with the amazing people. I seriously can't wait the day when our teaser and movie released. Please looking forward for the Part 2 shooting.

Idea Variations

The idea of our cult logo.

People need to kill their lover because it will be easy to kill the ones you don't.

Our logo still in progressing. We use skull symbol as our basic tittle because it's quite suitable for our cult film.

Playing around with the lighting and shadows.

It's fun playing around the lighting with my sister. Lighting of photography basically are main, fill, rim and background lighting.These all are just try out and not our cult's noir film yet. But soon, we will do the lighting soon. Stay tuned for the upcoming post!

Contextual Visuals

Our storyboard & plot.

Beginning:

The first scene started with our main character running away from a mysterious figure. Her face shows fear as she desperately tries to run away. But it was all a dream.Before all this,a couple of years ago she joined a cult that was based on killing their loved ones. For those who are able to kill their one love was showed that they are able to kill a person without feeling any regret because they experience a true loss. 

The cult influence her to kill one of the person that she loved. After that,she is regretted and felt very guilty.So she tried to retire from the cult. She told the cult leader that she is going to quit the cult because her mind and conscience told her that it was wrong.....

She started having dreams which dreams of a unknown person. Her dreams was so real until she can't tell the differences between dreams and reality. She then worried and went to receive a consultations from a doctor.

After that the doctor told her the situation and went to the doctor to receive medications to make her dreams go away for it is driving her mad! After the consultations, she continued to have dreams. That is more vigorous of her dreams. She dreamed about the unknown figure which kept asking her why did she killed him. Does she not love him anymore? 

She was heavily influenced by the cult and she choose comply with the teachings of the cult even though she knows that what she is doing is wrong. For the belief of the cult is that if somebody is capable of killing the person that they love, they will not be able to feel anything when they kill a stranger because they experience a lost greater than anything and to them without that person life is meaningless so they will submit to the cult. 

She started having mysterious cuts on her arm and bruises. As she woke up from one of her horrible dreams the figure was standing right in front of her, and he was holding a knife. As he raises the knife, her hands was following the actions of the figure.....
